President and Founder William graduated in 1991 from Lake City Community
College with an AS degree in Landscape Golf Course
Technology and Design. In 1994 he graduated with a BS in
Landscape Design and Management from FAMU in
Tallahassee, Florida.
In June 1994, Bill was hired by government of St. Kitts,
West Indies and a private company to complete two
projects. The first project was to design, restore and
supervise the Batik of St. Kitts and the second project
was to design & landscape the hotel grounds of the Fort
Thomas Hotel. The project took three months to complete,
and proved to be a huge success!
After graduation he was hired as Estimator/Designer
with one of the largest landscape contracting firms and
nurseries in Tallahassee. Within a year he was named
Vice President and continued to work for another 4 years
until he decided to make a change.
With over 20 years of experience working in the
landscape industry, Bill decided to relocate to Sanibel
Island, Florida where he grew up, and founded
Southern Tradition Landscape Contracting, Inc. in
January 1998.
Bill is actively involved in the preservation and
beautification of Sanibel Island. In 2000 he joined the
Sanibel Beautification Committee and is working with
the community and city to improve Sanibel naturally. In
May 2006, Bill was awarded a framed artist's
representation of the S - Four Corners Project.
Bill primarily handles all the Sanibel and Captiva
accounts. In addition, he works with some repeat clients
for both commercial and residential work and assists
with all other projects by co-managing as needed.
Bill currently resides in South Fort Myers with his
wife, Dawn, and three children: Jonathan, Justin and
Kaitlyn. |

| Rob Hendricks |
|
 |
President, Central Florida Division
Rob graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a BA in Business Administration.
During Rob’s career he has continued to demonstrated a strong commitment to
serving the public by becoming a Reserve Firefighter and Peace Officer; and most
recently Rob was appointed by the Florida Department of Agriculture as a voting
member of the Florida Oceans and Coastal Council.
The Council is charged
each year with developing priorities for ocean and coastal research and establishing
a statewide ocean research plan. Rob has served in executive management roles for
best in class companies such as: Frito Lay, Coremark International and MPFS.
Rob also serves the board of directors as CEO of the Coastal Conservation Association Florida. |

Dawn Blauvelt |
 |
Controller
Dawn joined the company in May 2002. Dawn graduated Cum
Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor of
Science in Marketing E-Commerce. In addition, she was
inducted into the Golden Key Honor Society for her
outstanding scholastic achievement. She has over 10 years
experience in office administration and several years
experience in marketing and accounting.
Dawn managed the books and financials for the landscape
division for over 4 years until the birth of her third child
in February 2006. She now works part-time assisting the
office as needed and continues to do all quarter-end and
financial reporting for all three divisions. |

Linda Scammerhorn |

Residential and Commercial Development Manager
Linda joined the company in July 2004; she has a bachelor's in business
administration. Linda has been working in the landscape industry for
many years and is very knowledgeable on code requirements and
specifications for landscape design and installation. Her expertise
ranges from managing both individual residential projects as well as
large scale development communities.
Linda primarily works with various national developers in Lee,
Collier and Charlotte counties where she manages all aspects of
landscaping for entire development communities. However, she is also
available for individual residential consult. She has been
acknowledged for her superior service and dedication on numerous
occasions and recently received a letter of testimonial from one of
our larger clients. |

John Hussion |
 |
Residential and Commercial Development Manager
John joined the company in April 2007. He has over 10 years experience in the construction/landscape industry and over 5 years experience in management. He took courses toward a BS degree at Radford University in Virginia after graduating Cum Laude from Bishop Verot in 1994.
John is responsible for residential and commercial sales for Southern Tradition Landscape. In addition to sales, he also acts as project manager on the jobs he sells. |

Scott
Crandell |
 |
Operations Manager
Scott joined the company in July 2005. Scott has over 20
years experience in the landscape industry. In college he
studied landscape design, drafting and blue printing. He has
specialized training in operating large equipment and is also
certified in irrigation layout.
Scott manages all field crews from our three divisions: STLC
Landscape, STLC Irrigation and STLC Sod. He is responsible for
assisting the job superintendents in the
field to maintain productivity, reinforce
quality control and ensure customer
satisfaction. He also is responsible for
scheduling jobs, attending construction
meetings and acting as a liaison between the
client and project managers on a continual
basis. |

Mike
Soucek
|
 |
Purchasing/Scheduling Manager
Mike joined the company in August 2006. He has over 25 years experience in management and sales in the landscape industry. He also has extensive knowledge with seeding and propagation. He has successfully grown everything from annual plugs to 200 gallon trees and everything in between. During his career he has also managed a 30 acre greenhouse and a 200 acre nursery. In addition to his extensive hands-on experience, Mike also has an impressive academic background. He has a BA degree in Marketing and Communications from Cleveland State University, has held a seat on the board of directors for Tampa Wholesale Growers and is a member of FNGLA (Florida Nursery Growers and Landscapers Association).
Mike does all the purchasing for the landscape division and handles all aspects of scheduling for the three divisions: STLC Landscape, STLC Irrigation, STLC Sod. This includes creating and tracking work orders for each division from start to finish. Mike also lends support in the field doing quality control and providing customer service as needed.

Joe Circelli |

Landscape/Sod Division Manager
Joe joined the company in January 2007. He has over 20 years
experience in the landscape industry. He also has extensive
knowledge in landscape design, layout and reading blueprints.
He is highly skilled in operating large equipment and holds a
pesticide license.
Joe manages all field crews for both the landscape and sod divisions. He is
responsible for assisting the job superintendents in the field to maintain
productivity, reinforce quality control and ensure customer satisfaction

Ryan Ussery |

Irrigation Service Manager
Ryan joined the company in October 2006.
He has over 15 years experience in irrigation sales and
service. He also has extensive knowledge in irrigation
design, layout and reading blueprints.
Ryan manages all irrigation service crews for STLC Irrigation, LLC.
He is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all irrigation
related problems for both residential and commercial sites. In addition,
he handles all warranty work and promotes and sells service agreements
on existing irrigation systems in effort to continuously maintain a well
operating system with full water coverage.

Jodi Dewar |
 |
Estimator Jodi joined the company in
September 2002. Jodi has over 10 years experience in office
administration and management.
Over the course of her employment at STLC, Jodi has worked and
succeeded in many areas. Upon hire she handled all miscellaneous
office duties. Some of her duties included, but were not limited
to, human resources and payroll.
Through hard work and dedication she continued to work her way
to bigger and more challenging positions. In late 2005, Jodi was
promoted to Estimator and is doing an excellent job playing a
vital role in our bidding process with residential, development
and commercial projects. Some of her job duties include
measuring plans, doing plant counts and creating proposals. |

Louise
Withrow |
 |
Office Manager Louise joined the
company in June 2005. Louise owned a mail order business for 15
years and a florist for 5 years. She also has worked in the
accounting department for all three divisions for over a year
doing AP/AR and collections.
Louise is now responsible for answering the phones, filing,
circulating office correspondence, inventory control,
maintaining all insurance records, handling claims and managing
human resources. In addition, she actively pulls permits for
irrigation and assists in accounting as needed. |

Julia
Skinner |
 |
Accounting Manager
Julia joined the company in April 2006. She has over
15 years experience in office management and accounting.
She has extensive computer knowledge with various accounting
programs and Microsoft Office applications. In addition, she
has taken several college courses in business/management and has
successfully completed an AutoCAD course at Edison College in 2001.
Julia is responsible for AP/AR and banking for all three divisions:
STLC Landscape, STLC Irrigation and STLC Sod. Acting as a liaison
between the field and office, she works closely with our sales team
and clients; general contractors, developers and homeowners, to
ensure that the work orders from each division are invoiced accurately
and in a timely fashion.

Dorothy
Denucci |
 |
Human Resources
Dorothy joined the company in December 2005.
Dorothy has over 30 years experience in office
administration and management. Throughout her career
she took management and accounting as well as various
classes in motivational dynamics.
Dorothy handles all aspects of HR and payroll for all
three divisions: STLC Landscape, STLC Irrigation and
STLC Sod. She also lends support to accounting as needed.

Bailey |
 |
Welcoming Committee Bailey, joined
the company in May 2002. Bailey successfully
graduated kindergarten from Coral Vet Clinic
in Fort Myers and has also completed
continuing education classes on obedience
and mannerisms.
Bailey is responsible for making people
smile and greeting people as they come into
the office.
